If you like chocolate, I drink EAS..Edge Advantage. I get it at Walmart. It's good cold! I also like Acheive One. It's a coffee based protein drink and they have several different flavors. I've ordered it off of www.vitalady.com Optimum Whey has a Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. I mix it with the Sunrise Orange and it tastes like a on orange dreamsicle. Good luck, Janie

I did NOT have a good eating day today :P It's my birthday, so my hubby made me blueberry waffles this morning (not what I would have picked for myself, but he went through SO much trouble...) Breakfast: 1/4 blueberry waffle, no syrup or sugar (yeah awful carbs I know). Snack: string cheese Lunch: Mexican (1/2 a tamale and 2 bites of taco) Snack: 2 slices pastrami Dinner: Dunno yet. It's been a bad day for carbs, but I've done really well with my water today (yaay for bottles). Just have to get on the wagon again tommorrow.

This is my favorite... you can mix and match other protein flavors and syrup flavors and or eliminate the coffee... but personally I LOVE this recipie: 2 cups GNC Pro Performance Vanilla protein 2 ounces Sugar Free French Vanilla syrup (coffee aisle) Folgers Decaf instant coffee to taste (I like 2 oz) Mix all ingredients in 2 quart container and add water (or milk to add more protein and calories to recipie) to fill container. Shake well and refrigerate for 2-4 hours before serving to allow powder to FULLY dissolve, and no lumps remain. Per 4 oz serving of "French Vanilla Latte" made with water: Protein 15 g Fat 2 g Calories 120 My personal hint: use the little bathroom cups and pour from the refrigerated bottle (it stays cold and is always ready for a quick drink). FYI: GNC will let you return proteins that you don't like for a full refund with reciept.

Yes the largest incision is where the port is ~ mine is just above and off to the side of that incision. I was banded 3/30 and have lots of bruising and tenderness. I have a pic of my belly on my profile. I feel like I've been doing sit ups for days - I really can't answer how long it will be swollen because I'm still there but check with the folks on the lap band board. Plus everybody heals and different paces. Congrats on your surgery - Its a whole new world.

I really like JayRobb protein powder personally - I have some nectar but haven't tried it yet - I hear good things about it.
