HAHA... Well... I had surgery 14th, didnt pass any gas till 18th (except I was beltching up a storm!!!!!!!!!!!) and I never pooped until the 22nd, but now I have no probs HAHAHAHA...
I felt like my friends daughter "I POOPED IN THE POTTY" I couldnt help but to text her on her cell "I POOPED" I've never been so glad to poop in my life 
I was taking the liquid loratab too.. id just take it and go to bed... I stopped taking it the 20th I think??? I still have a bottle but.. eh.. I dont seem to need it so I'll save the bottle for another night HAHAHA

hi ladies and gents,
this is my first blog anywhere. i've been reading this website for months now about the lap band. and after reading all the messages decided to have it done. i go next tuesday the 27th. i'm nervous and scared. but looking followed to getting this weight off for good. how long do u have to drink the protein shakes afterwards?

Hey March Forum--
I had my surgery on the 13th, and am already dropping serious weight daily. I am feeling great, and can't help but think that a big part of it is that I'm now 37 pounds lighter than I was less than a month ago.

I am doing great post-surgery. I had some nausia in the hospital, but have been pretty much problem free since I got home. I feel great, and seeing me bounce back has really helped Jodell as she prepares for her big day on Tuesday.
Only one problem, I'm losing weight like crazy. Don't mind that problem too much!! I'm down 37 pounds from my pre-surgery medical clearance about a month ago, and 22 pounds since my surgery on 3-13. Can't help but think the weight loss is part of why I feel so great!!!

I love that fact that you are going through it together. My husband needs it but is not going through it right now. It has been rough on the liquid diet with him eating around me. Are you going well with your surgery? Good luck to Jodell!!

My wife, Jodell is scheduled for the 27th too. I just had my surgery on the 13th.

Hello, my surgery is not scheduled till May 7th . I am very anxious and have been reading this website a lot.
Just a quick little tip. It seems everyone finds comfort in sugar-free popsicles. Great for your throat and a little treat.
I am having a nagging hernia repaired so I am sure my surgery is going to be a challenge. I am preparing for the worst and hope to be surprised. Since I am paying for this out of pocket I have already said I would not spend the night in the hospital.
Well, good luck. Read lot of information from this site it has been very interessting.
Everyone is so nice and very helpful. I have made a lot of friends from this site.
