Im right ahead of you... Im like 9 weeks out... and I eat salad... No problems... I eat taco salad.... chef salad, etc. actually there isnt anything I DONT EAT... except I stay away from sugars and pasta.
Just remember to chew...... chew..... chew....
Tonight Im having crab legs.... YUM!

With my hibiclens and magnesium citrate in hand, I have my surgery this Monday after ten months of patience and hard work.
This is my first post here. I have been a member for the past couple of months, reading your stories and getting a better feel of what to expect after the fact. And I want to thank y'all for that. I'm not so nervous anymore. I really just can't wait for the 20th.
I'll try to keep y'all up to date on my blog. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I keep y'all in mine.

Well Sadie, we are down to 11 nerve wrecking days. In the end, I am sure it will be worth it all.

Well it looks like you and I are really travelling this road together. I am supposed to leave the hospital on March 29th but I will remember to say a prayer for you. Maybe we will be able to compare notes when we start on this new adventure.

Unfortunately due to the weight and the MS, cleaning is not an option... can hardly do anything in my own place never mind cleaning someone else's... but that's for thinking of me!

Well as of today, and in the buff(don't picture that yet) I have lost 2olbs in 1 week!!
I'm in shock, but very giddy!! Lot's of water retention gone. So now to keep in losing.
And I'm still feeling great!

Boy, do I know about being excited, nervous etc. I'm scheduled for 3/29 and it seems like I've waited forever. Can't beleve two weeks from today it will be done. On to better things for all of us.

Hi...i just signed up today and my surgery is the same day as yours! I've waited so long and fought with the insurance company so much and then suddenly I got a call from my surgeon's office yesterday saying "You've been approved. How's March 27th?" Not even 2 weeks notice. Now I'm scrambling and worrying about what to have ready to drink/eat when I return, what do i need to do for my office, etc. And I'm so excited!! New Braunfels just north of San Antonio on IH 35 and the home of Schlitterbahn. You will be hearing ads soon for it and all summer long. And next year when we both are in bikinis we can actually go there!
