I am so sorry your hubby lost his job. I am a self pay pre op lap bander I paid $15.000 I know there are many who paid less and some paid more. If you post this on the lap band forum there may be someone in your area that recommends a good doc for a good price. I know there are some financing options with Capital One Healthcare, Caredredit, and a few others. There are many diffrent ways to finance. I had to go on the 10 day liquid diet. My lap-band surgery was March 2,2007. I did not have to have a stress test before surgery but.....during surgery my heart did some funky thing and I was taken the next day for a stress test which came back ok. The dr actually thought I had a heart attack on the table. But nope I am fine!

that is awesome!! (well not awesome but you know..cool that we are at the same weights) how tall are you? I'm almost 5 6 but really i'm 5' 5 I was at 310 this morning..woohoo!!!
