Topic: RE: 4 MONTHS OUT DOWN 100 POUNDS
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond - work has been busy! It may just be that our bodies are different. I'm tall and have quite of bit of natural muscle - so I might be burning more calories because of that. I haven't been counting calories or anything, just trying to eat as good as I can... you are doing very well, so don't be disappointed at all. It could be because I have a 3 yr. old and a 2 yr. old too... they keep me busy... Take care! Amie

Ohhhh thinning hair! Mine was short to begin with but very thick. I usually didn't have to do much but let it dry and it would look full. But now....yikes! I have to mousse it up and use blow dryer to make it look like have hair! I am sooo not used to this! Hubby is complaining about hair in the drains, on the furniture, on the back of car seats and he is always brushing it off my back and shoulders...it is worse then a dog! rofl. I am taking Biotine and makeing sure I get all my protein plus....I hope it stops soon so the new growth will fill in.

Topic: RE: THINNING HAIR?
I cut my hair shorter when it started falling out. It was halfway down my back, and now it just brushes my shoulders. Mine falls out so much that my husband has to clean out the shower drain about every other week. Otherwise it stops up the drain. Last time he had to look at it twice because the first time he thought the hair was metal (that is how thick it was). My hair is so thin now. I don't think you should get it cut too short, specially if you have never had it that short before. But cutting it some may help the hair loss not seem so traumatic.

Topic: THINNING HAIR?
Hey what do you think about cutting your hair when it is getting so thin? I have real curly hair it's about to my shoulders and falling out by the hand fulls. I went to a support meeting last night and was very happy to find out it is not falling out from what is happening right now it is falling out because of what has already happened the sugery the anasteta the rapid weight loss the stress of y body for over the past months and they actually showed me where the new hair is already growing in so what do you think cut it short and let it all grow in together (my husband said no) but do you think it might not look so stringy? Help do I cut or not cut? Thanks shirley

Topic: Body fat % milestone
228 lbs, 6'4" As of this morning, my body fat % is officially down to 17%. This is awesome!!! Even though my BMI is ~28, and would indicate that I'm still in the "overweight" range, my body fat % is a sign that I'm now in a very healthy place. Still losing a couple pounds a week. I'm still going to track my body fat % to make sure I mantain my muscle mass. Feeling healthy, and loving my renewed life! 350/228/205

Don't feel too bad. My friend that had gastric bypass with me had a stricture for months and just had gallbladder surgery. I had a bowel blockage and complications from surgery for the bowel blockage and ended up in the ICU. But, we are both thinner and happier and don't regret the surgery at all!
