Topic: Hair loss
I know there has been many posts before on hair loss but I didn't save them.
Is anyone experiencing this and do you remember how long the falling out stage lasts?
I had thinning hair before surgery and was using Rogaine and using special shampoo. After surgery I am taking Biotin and praying.
It started falling out at about 2.5 months and seems to be getting worse. I am going to try to up my protein, as well.
Any advice would be appreciated.

So glad you're home and back on the road to recovery. It is amazing how much difference a good doctor can make, and how miserable a poor one can make you. I had a feeling something serious might be wrong when I read and responded to your previous post. Soooo glad you were able to get some help, and can finally start to feel better!!
Stay positive, even though I can imagine it must be hard!

Topic: RE: Anyone notice your weightloss yet?
I'm down 100 pounds from my highest weight, and I think everyone who knows me has noticed a dramatic difference. What's more exciting is when people I really don't know very well notice, and make comments. As I've mentioned in my previous posts, my life has been energized, and opportunities at work have opened up. Life at home has also improved, as both Jodell and I have increased energy, and we've pulled together as we've lost weight together since March.

Hi Rita,
Good to see you in the posts and to hear you're doing well. Don't let yourself lose your momentum!!! Don't forget that 56 lbs. is alot of weight to lose in 3 months!!!

I don't know about you, but 56 pounds to lost is alot, and you should give yourself credit for what you've lost, and focus on how far you've come vs. how much is just this week. I've also focused alot on enjoying activities I didn't enjoy before my surgery!!! I've also enjoyed wearing sizes of clothes I wouldn't have thought possible just a year ago.
I just passed the 100 pounds lost since my highest weight ever, and am so excited. Jodell, my wife who also had surgery in March has lost between 50-60 lbs. We are quickly becoming slim-jims. About 27 lbs of the 102 lbs lost was pre-surgery, but I like to count from the beginning of this weight loss journey.
