thanks!
the protein poswder drinks just gag me..in fact nothing appeals to me really. I have also tried wendys chilli and it was great..I could only eat about half though...I added grated cheese ( you can order it that way) and it adds protein..good idea for lunch tomorrow though!!--had not heard about lemon, but i will try it as , water is still hard for me to get enough in....
keep it up...you will do well.
Topic: RE: Surgery on 3/15 and down 46lbs as of this morning
Congrats, Kevin!
I had my surgery on 3/12, and am down about 44 lbs (on my home scale), so not too far behind you!
I can totally relate to the clothes thing... I had to do some shopping, since the only "small" clothes I had weren't enough to get me through a week at work and they are starting to get loose too!
Keep up the great work!
Wendy

OMG, reading your post is exactly what I'm going through. I wanted to know someone who is going through the same thing. I have no energy because I went 4 days without eating. I just sip powerade, and I can't keep water or protein down. It's getting to me, and on top of this I have just not gotten where I want food. But I can't keep anything down. I pray that it gets better. To make matters worse I have only lost 20 lbs. That's good but for all the pain, and suffering it seems like it should be a little more. Wishing you better days a head!

I'm 5 weeks out in the morning. I lost 20 lbs. I can't do protein it sits in my chest, and I have the same problem with water. My dr said to add lemon do you or did you have this problem. As far as the food choices. I tried the Wendy's chili, and it stayed down great.

Topic: RE: has anyone noticed your loss yet?
I've lost somewhere between 20-25 lbs. People tell me they can tell in my face and my midsection. My clothes are fitting a little different. It's minor but it's major to me right now. I'll take anything !

In the past when I've lost weight it took about 50 lbs for anyone to notice, but it also depends on what your starting weight is! I also wear very loose clothing anyways so if I don't buy new clothes to show the loss it will take people even longer to notice. Buy new clothing so people can see!
