Way to go!!
I have lost 85 lbs, gone from a size 28 to a size 16, 54 D to a 42D Have a new respect for myself. and agree with you 100% on teaching the youngsters better food choices!!
I feel SO bad for the way I raised my boys.. every celebration revolved around food rather than their achievement. So naturally they have issues themselves.. Weigh****chers helped one and the Navy helped the other.. NOW they are teaching their kids better choices... Darn thing is the triplets HAVE to have a lot of FAT in their diet to gain weight properly... thank God they dont need sugar.

Topic: RE: Who had a WOW moment(s) this week?
Ladies I have not been on this site for awhile and I'm glad I read it tonight. I have had many wow moments thru this journey but the one that sticks in my mind is: I went to K Mart to do some shopping on Friday and bought some sweats and P.J.'s. Yesterday I was thinking and realized I was not shopping in the plus section. It took me 4 days to realize this. Am I slow or what? All your Wow Moments inspire me to do right. I have lost 111 lbs but I want to lose another 50 before May. I am going to have a hernia repair and tummy tuck then. See all lighter. Joanne

Laura, I am so glad to here you are teaching your daughter. I was an obese child and know the problems children face. My grandaughter is 7 and can read a food label better then most adults I know. I do feel we teach our children how and what to eat. My heart really goes out to obese children. I only wish I could do more for them. Congradulations on your weight loss. I have lost 111 lbs so far and am going to have hernia repair and a tummy tuck in May. I can't wait and want to lose all I can before then. I would love to lose another 50 lbs at least. See you lighter. Joanne

Congrats on your loss so far. Keep up the good work. I too started out really large. I was a size 30-32 pant and a 5x top. I have lost a total of 142lbs so far, and I feel great. I can fit my booty into a size 24 pant, and an ex-lg shirt. isnt it wonderful to be able to go places we couldnt go before without people staring (in horror and disgust) or being afraid we wouldnt fit in the seats? now we get the looks and stares, but its for a different reason. keep up the great work. You will get to goal soon.

Topic: The last 8 months...
Well, today is my 8 month anniversary. 8 months ago, I had what I now describe as a life-saving procedure.
I feel like I got my life back. I don't suffer from high blood pressure anymore, I'm not out of breath after climbing onw flight of stairs anymore, I'm not embarressed to eat in a restaurant anymore.
I have recovered my self-confidence. I'm teaching positive lessons to my 3 year old daughter so hopefully she won't have to fight the same battles I did.
I was 255 pounds when I got on the operating table; I wore a size 20 pants and a 22/24 top and was a 44G bra. I am now 159 pounds, I wear a size 10 or a medium pants, a medium or large top and a 38DD bra.
I'm 4 pounds away from being a member of the Century Club and 9 pounds from goal.
I'm still the same person I was before surgery, but I sure do feel different.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your stories, they have helped inspire me to keep going when I wanted to give up.
I love being a LOSER!!

Joanne:
I have lost 135 lbs now. I only let myself plateau one time. One time was enough for me. I am appraoching a tummy tuck soo. I has surgery on the 11th and hit my first platue 3 months out. My plateau lasted for almost a month and I was so down and discouraged. I talked to my Bariatric office and they are the ones that told me to go back to the beginning any time I wanted to..So I rotate my weeks and have been on a consistant weight loss ever since. I am losing about 2 to 4 lbs a week. It works..I am surprised that there are not more responses to this post.
Please let me know how you do. I had someone else try this and she lost 27 lbs the first month and lives by it now...if you are unhappy with the plateau buster...you can always increase the liquied diet to two weeks to get you jump started again.
Good luck and God Bless your journey

Hi all!
I am so excited about my new tool and have come a long way!
I feel so blessed. Iv'e gone from a size 22/24W to a size 16/18W jeans and from a size 3XL top to size L. I have more energy than I have ever had in my life. I feel so alive and vibrant! I thank God for my health everyday! I have never lost more than 45 lbs and just the thought of losing over 100 lbs just blows my mind. I never thought or even imagined that I would lose the amount of weight that I have and will never gain it back. I can throw away the larger sizes and not turn back!! This journey is awesome!
