Topic: RE: OK, April 2005 surgery folks...how are you doing?
I started at 262, last Friday I was 180 but I've gained four pounds this week. This is my first weight gain since surgery. I probably experimented too much with new foods and poor choices. I feel pretty good except for chronic constipation. It's awful and negatively impacts my outlook on life. I go for my six month post op visit at the end of the month. I won't let the doctor get rid of me until he comes up with a viable solution. His last suggestion was "take a Colace stool softener every day". I've been doing that for four months without success! I'm tired of feeing tired and I'm tired of never being hungry and never really enjoying eating an more. I love to cook and bake but I do it for others now. I think my hair loss is slowing. That's good!

Hello Renee, Thats sound good, I bet you could add some thin slices of egg plant and it would be tasty! Just something I would like to add. Later, Tom 536/398/200 -138lbs.

In a medium sized bowl, mix the ricotta, egg, parmesan, and 3/4 cup mozzarella, and the Italian seasonig. Beat well with fork. 4. In a 9x13 glass baking dish, spread the beef mixture into the bottom of the dish. Spread the ricotta mixture on top of the beef mixture. Lay half the pepperoni slices on top of the ricotta mixture. Put remaing mozarella over the pepproni slices, and lay the remaning pepperoni on top of the cheese. 5. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. I got a ton of emails for this and thought I would post it all over !! LOL Toodles, Reneé 418/309/125 -109lbs!!

Topic: OK, April 2005 surgery folks...how are you doing?
Today is October 6, 2005. I had my surgery on April 4th, 2005. I started at 268, and today I reached 199. That was a mighty big hurdle. My health is great, my diabete and high blood pressure is great. I went from size 26-28 to an 18. I would like to lose another 20 pounds and I would be very happy! The plateaus have been kinda hard, but I'm just ever so grateful to have good health and lose weight too! How is everyone doing with their weight and health? Please share your story. I'm really interested in everyones tale to tell!

Topic: Drain site pain?
Hi all - I'm almost 6 months post open RNY, and lately I've had occasional pain from around where my drain was. Is this happening to anyone else? Maybe it's just a muscle ache from doing too much? It kinds of feels like that, like a muscle thing. Oh, and I updated my profile last week with a new pic. I need to get a posting pic done, I suppose, and my Century Club card. One of these days, lol!

OK.. after reading everyones posts... WE have a clothing exchange where several of us get to gether 3 or 4 times a year and get somone elses clothes they shrunk out of.. My first exchange in May I picked up some 22s and 24s. Saturday I will be picking up 16's. THANK God for Goodwill.. I do not by anything NEW.. same old panty girdles. I don't really feel much different, I am the same person..it is the clothes fairy who goes into my closet and changes the sizes.. I haven't changed..It is the perople around me who have changed.. All of a sudden I am worth talking to in their eyes...THEY on the other hand are just as stupid as they were 6 months ago.. I hope I never get that way!!! Linda

Topic: RE: Who had a WOW moment(s) this week?
Jennifer - your WOW moment is the same as mine this week. I have found that the size 10's are getting loose and I ended up buying two pairs of size 8 jeans at New York & Co. Gotta love that store! I have become a total clothes-a-holic. I am trying to see how many days I can go to work (I teach junior high) without wearing anything that I have already worn. (cept underwear, bras and shoes) I have now made it 25 days without a repeat. Ooooh hoooo! I teach junior high and am even wearing heels most days. Sure love this weightloss. Hope everyone is doing well and that all of you are healthy and happy. Judy (whohaslessthanfivepoundstoloseuntilshesinthecenturyclub)
