I think it was a lie. Along with the exaggerated sexual urges. I feel like I've been neutered. Lynda

Congrats Danielle. I'm sure this is a mixed blessing. I'd be terrified if I was pregnant this early out as I am sure you are as well. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy. Best of luck and let us know how everything goes. I too hope to get pregnant eventually. We plan to start to try when I am a couple years out. Being really careful right now and taking your advice!

NG!! So HAPPY to hear you were on the other side of the fence, so to speak! my niece was in Kenner. She and her husband and 2 boys, evacuated back to Bamaland and they made it here safely. I guess they will be staying with her parents for the next few months, her house is under 16 ft. of water. All other family is okay except we havent heard from some of my husband's cousin's in Slidell. Its has been YEARS since he had contact with them so he cant even remember thier names, isnt that pitiful. My hubby was born in New orleans and its still a shock to us, even tho we werent directly involved, still Charity Hospital was his birthplace and seeing it go through so much devastation ( as well as everyone else!) has been hard. I stay glued to Fox news these days, it just breaks my heart. We just got power back on a few days ago, ourself. Otherwise we are fine. I tend to keep a migraine these days so havent been online very much in the last few weeks. Im heading back to the couch now, but will write more asap. So happy your okay! Love, Sandy

Lynda, I can totally relate. I could lay my head down and just pass out. Like the prior post I have upped my shake from 70 to 80 grams - it does make a difference - little by little - and I get the B12 injections AND take the daily sublingual now - I procrastinated on the sublingual for the longest but have just recently got in the habit of taking it and have felt a bit of a boost. I was told that just taking sublinguals isn't enough - it doesn't always absorb well and if you do both it is ok - what your body doesn't use it just discards, you can't overdose on B12 Our doc prescribes primacare prenatal pills and we can't double up on those but we have just recently been told by our docs that RNY patients aren't absorbing all the B vitamins as we are supposed to so now we have to take a B-complex vitamin too (at first it was just a B1 vitamin but then they found out that if you take just B1 you will knock all the other B's out of whack) and now I feel alot better - except for all my hair loss - otherwise doing better. Good Luck and don't forget to tell your doc and dietician - they may have additional orders for blood work to check your potassium levels and such - I heard that when the potassium levels start to drop to low that you will feel exhausted all the time and nothing you do makes it better. If you have anything that you are wanting to donate to the storm victims, clothes, new toothbrushes etc. Box it up and you can send it to me, and I will drop it off at the civic center............. just put a tape label of clothing size on the front so it is easy for them to know if who can fit into it. Write Katrina Storm Victims on outside of box--- That way we will just take it over there unopened. It will be easier for the Red Cross workers to move it around still sealed until they get it where they can unpack it.

Hello Lynda, I ran into the same thing last week, so what I did was up my protein up to 3 shakes a day for a total of 95 grams per day and then I added another vitamin, so I take not just two vitamins now three, then today I went to a support group meeting and I was told to take the 3 regular multivitamins and at least 1000 mcg of Vitamin B-12. So I went to GNC and picked up some B-12 and took one at 3 in the afternoon and what a heck of a pick me up that did? Here it is going on Midnight and I have so much energy..... I hope you get over the hump.... it will kick in again..... Tom

Christy, I count my pre-op weight. Some do it differently though. I didn't have to lose weight prior to surgery. Gina
