My WOW moment would be that I have now lost 1 pound OVER half of the total weight I need to lose! Also that I now have more pounds on the lost side then I do on the need to lose side.

Okay...sorry it has been a while since I have posted. I have been a voyeur though and I am thrilled with everyone's weightloss!! We have all gone through a lot in the last 4 months and I am proud of each and every one of you for sticking with your individual programs, encouraging one another with posts and e-mails and for not getting discouraged when little bumps come and go...they will inevitably pass.
Well, my Whoo Hoo comes this morning..I got on the scale and had lost 83 pounds in 4 months and 5 days and I only have 82 pounds left to lose. I AM OVER HALF WAY TO GOAL!!!!!!!! YEA!!!! I am still in my old clothes and my hair is falling out daily but I feel great. my hubbie notices that I am happier and everyone else notices that I am losing. I was even mistaken for another long haired lawyer in our bar association the other day and she is about a size six...I am still a 16W but for a few seconds, someone called me by her name from the back and I WAS SO THRILLED!!!
Here's to each and every one of you who have taken the leap of faith and had the surgery. I applaud you all.

I had my surgery on 4/8/05 and I have lost 71 lbs, so you are doing better than me. Although, I am hard on myself, I am also very proud of myself. I think i am doing well. I have lost tons of inches and I am down from a snug 24 to size XL on top and Sz16 on bottom. It has been 10 years sice I have been that size. So, don't beat up on yourself you are doing great!

Hi! Being a teacher who is off for the summer, I traveled all I could. AND - I kept losing weight. I also reached onederland this week. I got back from my last vacation yesterday and got on the scales upon arriving home. I weighed in at 196. Talk about WOW!
WOW #2 happened today at school. A lot of us showed up to start on bulletin boards. One teacher came to me and said, "Alonso told me you were HOT. He said he will really have to watch himself this year!" HAHAHA! This did my heart good. Alonso is our head custodian and he is 23. I am 54. What a compliment.

Topic: RE: Clothing question Pants not going down
Could it be that your stretchy pants were just stretched?
Did you measure yourself pre-op, have you lost inches?
What are you doing for exercise? Walking has helped my behind to shrink lots!
Don't give up, eventually you'll see some changes.

Hello all,
I see here most of you are already losing so much in your clothes. I have in my shirts but I haven't really lost so much in my pants. Is anyone else here seeing this or am I doing something wrong. I have lost in my shirts a whole lot but I wear stretchy pants and I haven't went down in a smaller size yet??? HELP please
