I take Optisource Chewables, B1 tablet, B12 sublin, and Bariatric Advantage Chewables Iron daily. I really don't know what is "better". I just know that I enjoy chewables and my labs are good.

I probably would have smacked him with the back of my hand. Or a better way to have delt with it would have been "Not as fat as your mouth." Some people just never grow up. I think you look fantastic. I mean really. The before picture compaired to the picture of you now. You look like a different person. Dont let it bother you... He will be drunk for the rest of his life, but you wont be "fat" forever. You look great, keep your chin up. Jennifer

Hi Dayna, I am so jealous, I am a huge NASCAR fan. Bristol is on my list of racetracks to do before I die list. I got to go to Talladega last October. About the comment. I didn't do my surgery to get skinny or look good. I did it because my doctor said "Lynn you are going to die if you don't do something NOW!!!" Your granddaughter will know you through pictures. So when people still make comments they are ignorant of what I have accomplished. I do not take any medications and I can actually excercise. You look marvelous, fantastic, sexy!! 318/220/150

Hi, my name is Darlene and I'm new to this message board. I had surgery April 18 of last year. My stats are: 284/176 my surgeons goal was a loss of 104# so I guess I have attained that, but I would love to lose another 20# at least (I'm 5'9"). That way even if I gained 5# I'd still be in a healthy range. I am experiencing exactly what I'm reading on your board. Almost nothing makes me sick, although I do avoid bread-don't like the "heavy" feeling it gives me. I do pretty well with my protein, I eat a LOT of meat-especially beef. My husband says I live on Wendy's chili. My main problem is that I am back to only drinking 2-3 glasses of ANYTHING (water, decaf tea) a day and am once again falling into the habit of only eating 2-3 meals a day. I never really get hungry, although I do feel "empty" and want to eat. Also, my meals are larger than my Dr. wants--I can easily eat 7-9 oz of steak per meal (this is why I don't have any protein problems!). I know I'm eating at least 1 c per meal most days but have justified this as the equivalent of 6 (4 oz) meals. I'm also snacking occassionally on no-nos--potato chips, cookies, micro popcorn. I'm having a hard time disciplining myself to get back on track and this scares me. My first 8 weeks after surgery were HELL; I spent a week in the hospital with a pic line because I couldn't even keep SPIT down, and I had to be stretched 4 times in 2 months due to exessive scar tissue. I can't believe I'm being this stupid, and for what? I LOVE my weight loss, I LOVE getting into size 10s and even some 8s. Unbelievably, I'm not gaining weight, but I am stalling myself; it is only coming off at about 1-2# every few weeks. Anyway, I'm glad to have found this forum, and I appreciate you all letting me vent! I also appreciate the accountability, because everyone around me thinks I'm doing just great--they don't understand how easy it is for me to get off track. I will head back to the gym tomorrow morning and try to get a handle on myself. Darlene

I would LOVE to hear what type of supplements you all are taking. I am on a daily chewable Centrum and GNC's liquid B-complex but feel my energy level should be better. I've seen a few different supplements that advertise to be specifically for wls post ops--are they really better? Please share!! Thanks, Darlene

I checked out your photos as well. That guy was drunk and was being a jerk. You look great...you have a well defined waist and you are glowing. Don't let his nastiness ruin this for you.

I too have been a bit slack, I find myself wanting to snack and that in itself is dangerous. I really want to lose 10 more lbs before my year f/u on 04-20, then I will be down 130lbs. I want to lose even more but I think in the 3-4 weeks 10 more lbs is achievable. Thank you for your post, it does help to know that other people may feel like they need to get back on track too. Good luck, lets make this next month count.

Thanks Gina! My website is available now. Someone emailed me saying they were trying to view it but the bandwith was exceeded. I have now changed to Geocities Plus and that should no longer be a problem. www.geocities.com/thedawnofanewdayna Thanks! Dayna

Dayna, Don't let some bozo head get you down in the dumps. I couldn't get to your website to see your comparison photo's but, from what I see on your profile you have done an amazing job. Some people are just rude and ignorant. Ignore the fools and commend yourself on a job well done. You have come a long way, baby. You are a beautiful person and all of your goals are within reach.
