Happy 10 months to you April! I think we maybe set big goals for ourselves by our 1 year. I want to be at goal and you want to be under 300. I have 17 left to make it, but only 6 weeks left. I'm begining to think it might be a month or so later than my 1 year. That's okay too. The point is to get there, and we are still much healthier than we were 10 months ago. I too can say I haven't worked my tool to the best of my abilities either. Geez, we're only human!
Congrats on the 179 pounds so far! That is truely incredible! You should be very proud of yourself! So here's to us working our tool harder and reaching our personal goals!

Hi surgery sister! I, too, am looking and feeling great. "This had been the greatest 10 months, and I wouldnt change it for anything in the world." I sooooo agree with you! I should have done this years ago.

That happens once in a while. The best way (and yes, I know this is too late) to prevent this is to simply make a backup copy of all your text every time you update and save it in a Word document on your computer. Just highlight everything in your profile while you are updating, right click Copy, open a Word document, right click Paste and save the document. I do this every once in a while because I have a lot of picture tags and html on my profile, along with everything I've written.
So sorry about the lost information. (((hugs))).

Congratulations Katie! We have all come a long way and this year has gone so fast. I find it hard to believe that a year ago I weighed close too 350 lbs and look at me now!! I will never go back to being that person ever again.

3 Days will be my 10th month since my surgery,I am feeling good about my decision to have it because there has been nothing but positive results since. My only problem is I wanted badly to be under 300 lbs by my first year. Its Posible because i have only20 lbs to go, for that goal. When i look back at how far I have become i can only thank GOD.And my surgeon, I realized i havent been using my tool to my fullest advantage and i need to work on that a little more, So for the time remaing while its still working for me i will have to work it harder from my end. 179 lbs in 10 mos. aint bad considering it took longer to loose 50 lbs before surgery.

I don't read this board to often.. but I follow you on the main board, I wanted to check in with you.. Congratulations.
My surgery was 4/19/05 and I am down 140#'s. What a difference. I hit the 100# some time in sept or oct. I don't recall exactly.. but it was a huge milestone for me too..
Keep up the great work..
