I'm on the same page as you. Starting weight 292, I'm currently at 170. Doctors goal weight 150, my goal was 180. I share your suprise in fitting into a size 12 jean. I went to goodwill saturday and bought a lovely sag harbor size 10 red pleated skirt. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so i can wear it to work. Keep pushing on with your success. My surgery date was 12 APR 05. Again congrats.

I thought I would post this morning since I will be returning to work full time. We made it through week 3 of the challenge! First week I lost 4 lbs and the 2nd week I didn't lose any at all. I was glad to see that the 3rd week I lost a total of 3 lbs. This puts me at 170 and a total lost of 119 lbs. 20 more lbs to go to goal. YAHOO!!!!!
Also would like to share that I went shopping the other day and fit into a size 12 jean and a size 10 stretch cord pants. It was the best moment ever. I called my Dad from the dressing room and had tears in my eyes. I don't even think I could get into that size when I was born lol

Hi! I got dropped from the e-mail updates some how, But I just checked in and thought I'd tag on this post. Surgery date 4/7/05, 248 pounds that morning. As of this morning 136 lbs. 112 pounds gone. It's going slow now... but still going. My goal was 140, the least I've ever weighed since I was 14 is 128, only 8 pounds to go to get there. I am 5'8 1/2 and will be 56 in March. I am finally starting to look thin. Can you belive it?

It is amazing! I used to be the chubby woman with the pretty face. I felt I was invisable so often. Now, I have such good self confidence (not boastful) and am noticed everywhere I go. It is such a great feeling. I began this journey on April 28, 2005 at 9am. I went home On May 1st and started the real test of will power. It has been tough at times just finding out what I can tolerate. Then I had to have my gall bladder out. Now I feel great! I started at 299 and now weight in at 159! I was wearing 3/4X (26-28) Clothes and now I wear size 12 pants (getting loose) and Medium or Large tops! I can't wait until the summer. I will be going to the beach! Good Luck to everyone!
