Topic: update on sodium levels.....
I thought I would update you all from my passing out episode the other day. We got the results back on my sodium levels. They were in the normal range. Of course I passed out on Thursday and I had blood taken on Monday. I did however go and get a copy of my ER blood lab results and it was considerably lower than the Monday test. In fact as low as you could go and still be in the normal range. I feel like that is what it is. Since I have actively been getting more sodium in my diet I have not had any additional problems. So we will just keep going from here for now. Tara surgery 4/18/05 289/173/150

Tara - If you find out it is sodium consider taking a couple grains of sea salt and adding it to your water. I do this when I've done a lot of cardio. That or I do some watered down gatorade.

Topic: RE: What *Percent* Of Excess Weight Have You Lost?
As for me, I'm at 100% from my starting weight. My starting weight was 217 lbs and my goal was to weigh 127 lbs, I'm now at 125 lbs and still losing, but slowly. Keep up the great work everyone!

Topic: RE: OK April Losers how much have you lost???
Congrats everyone on your weight loss. As for me, I've lost 92 lbs. I'm at my goal! I'd never thought I'd ever say this, but I'm actually happy where I'm at and don't want to lose anymore, but the weight is still coming off slowly. I weigh 125 lbs and in a size 4/6 in pants. (I'm only 5'2") I'm still in a normal BMI range but I'm seriosly debating on contacting the doctor to see what I can do to just maintain instead of losing anymore. I feel like I eat quite a bit, but mostly all the right foods. Everyone, keep up the great work!

Topic: RE: Where are the P/B Challengers????????
Hi Joanne. Well I continue to be extra good with my diet. I havnt weighed for a couple of days, I have been getting too depressed. I know I am eating really well and exercising, so I know that the weight isnt dropping due to anything I am doing wrong. I am determined to stick to the rules to the letter and just hope against hope that eventually my body will give it up. Today for example, B-1 protein shake L-salami and 1 slice cheese S-apple D- 1 slice roast pork. tiny piece of potato, tbs corn and zucchini S-cherries. over 2 litres of water. coffee I hope you are doing well, Joanne, keep at it, and it will work out. hugs from down under Helen

Melody: Cheer up girl, 87 lbs. is great, that is less than you were a year ago. I had gastric bypass in January of 2003 started at 440 and now down to 220 am at a stand still but feel great, think about all the things you can do now you could not do in the past, protein is the key and that is what I am going to do protein shakes and meat, that is where it is. Cheer up you are doing great. Linda
