I have RNY on 4/10, I do struggle getting all my protein in. I track it faithfully on fitday.com. Since about week 2 I have had mustard colored bowel movements. Is this normal or should I call the doctor?

Well Caryn, I had my RNY April 24 and I've definitely been struggling with getting protein in and just eating period. But, I believe (I'm going thru the same type of bowel movements) that we're both fine and that as long as there is no blood/or pain and we're somewhat "regular", we're good to go hon!

I had my lap rny on April 4th and have the same thing going on, or more like only going once in a while.

No question is to embarassing ....we have to get through this together. I am having the same sort of results. I asked my doc and he said that I was fine. As long as there is no pain or blood.

Right there with ya and I only go like once every 2-3 weeks.  I am going to start taking miralax to get regular.  Hey that might be causing extra pounds on the scale!!!

I'm there as well that mustard color.  I've never analysized the toilet so much.  It is very embarassing to talk about.  Glad you brought it up.

Mine has been really dark...they said from too much calcium and iron. Don't feel bad I freaked. I have to take fibercon sometimes since I won't go for a week or so at a time.
