I agree with you Andi, you can't work with someone and all of a sudden not trust them. I think something else is going on and Carla has every right to question his motives. Carla, you are a valued and reliable employee who has worked in the same place for 25 years? You deserve an explaination. The lunch is a good idea but if he refuses you need to schedule a meeting with him. Good Luck. Amy

Thank You Ruth that sounds very yummy, I will have to make some... I like the idea with bacon, I might not add the potatoes. That might be good with chicken in it, or little chicken meatballs.

Good Morning one and all... so what do we have on for today then. Congratulations Jean on your court hearing. How did we all do yesterday, and I'm not just talking about food either. How did we handle the good bits, bad bits, were we kind to ourselves, etc etc. Well you asked for it, so here's the recipe for cabbage & bean soup - very easy - I don't do complicated All the amounts are very rough - depends on how much I have at the time, so you can vary it to your taste. Chop up some leeks, and put in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil together with some garlic (if you like garlic that is!!), add chopped cabbage (the original recipe said white, but I have never managed to get it so use red instead - works the same) and fry til soft. Add a couple of cans of borlotti beans (or use fresh if you want) and top up with water til you get the consistancy that you like - more water = more soupy, less water = more stew like. Throw in a 2 peeled potatoes about half tennis ball size chunks, and a couple of peeled but whole carrots, and some stock cubes to taste, leave to cook on a simmer for a couple of hours until you like it, and Bob's your uncle - cabbage & bean soup or bean & cabbage soup depending on the amounts of each To make it even more yummy, you can fry off some chopped bacon with the leeks. Serve with grated cheese on top, and my hubbie has a hunk of bread. I haven't worked out the nutricianal values, but I figure it must be low in calories at least! Have a great day!

That's my Andi - tell it like it is. Although it helps to know where this guy is coming from and why he is acting and talking the way he is, at the end of the day, you have the right to confront him and not tak ethis lying down. You've said before that some of yoru co-workers don't 'get along' with you - maybe they have said something that needs to be put right, but this guy should have talked to you first abotu it, before making an opinion. Have it out with him - find out the cause or at least make him explain himself. Don't leave it to fester

just 5 lbs... I loose it, it finds me, I loose it, it finds me. same 5 lbs over and over and over each month. driving me insane. today AF is here and so is that same *$&!*$&!*$&!*$&! 5lbs. last night went to a nice concert, www.visionsofatlantis.com opened and I really liked them, http://www.epica.nl/ were okay, but too much growling. a couple of weeks ago, we went to see/hear http://www.leaveseyes.com/ and they were really good, but completely were blown away by http://www.kamelot.com now I am checking out a couple of new recommendations, http://www.sonataarctica.info as well as http://www.mortenveland.com/sirenia/ and http://www.tristania.com/, each have at least two songs on their latest cd's that I like. so I am sure that they will grow on me. as for food. breakfast, I had a muffin, lunch, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, after noon snack a bunch of Kettle Chips, and dinner was single corn hard shell taco with beef. boring but no getting sick.
