Today is the day: 13 June

I am calm. I have lots of adreneline but I'm calm. Slept well last night. Even though I've read everything about the surgery for months on this site. Actually that's why I'm calm. Because it works. Thanks for all the well-wishes, kind people; they help more than you know. Renee

I had my surgery June 13, too. Are you home from the hospital and how are you feeling?

Renee, I hope that all has went well for you! I am now celebrating my 1 year anniversary with happiness! I have lost 115 lbs.! Hard to believe huh? I remember that 1st 6 weeks. I wondered what in the heck have I done, but you will be very happy with your decision. I pray that everything goes well for you! Tracie

Thanks everyone, I got home on Monday AM (16th). No complications, no vomiting. Everything went fine. (Open RNY). Still can believe I had the fortitude to go through with this. Hang in there Pre-ops; so far the week before surgery was worse than the week after. 5 days & post-op and down 14 lbs. No pain killers except TYLENOL since the hospital. You CAN do it. Luv, Renee
