VSG surgery date July 9th!!

I have a date of July 9th for my VSG surgery. In Juarez, Mexico.

I am trying to make sure I don't forget anything for post op diets....

Hi Barbara! My surgery is set for July 7th and I start my pre-op diet June 30th. I'm also having the Sleeve. Have you begun your pre-op diet? I figurd I'd do a big shopping trip this week and get all the liquids I'll be living on for the next 3 weeks !

Barbara, We have the same surgery date. Here's to a successful procedure for the both us. I'll keep you in my prayers. Do you know anyone else who had their surgery in Mexico?

Not personally. But I read alot of people on the forums have had it done there.
Where are you going??

Hi, I've been away from the computer for a day.

I'm having my surgery at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. I live about 60 miles southwest of Chicago, out in the boondocks.

I like my surgeon very much.  He is very experienced and I feel very comfortable/safe with him.

I will be keeping all of us July babies in my prayers at night. Good Luck and let me know how it went.  Take care,

Have you started your pre- op diet?
What does your Dr. recommend?
