I would recommend not weighing yourself everyday. I do not own a scale. I go once a week to weigh myself at the hospital where I had my surgery. When I get back to work, I will use the nurse's scale once a week. Congrats on breaking through the stall. Hugs, Trish

I'm crossing my fingers that I have finally made my way through to the other side of my first stall. I waivered between 242 and 241 then yesterday I was back down to 240 and today.....238. I hope, I hope, I hope. Anyone know how to tell if you've actually made it through one of those things? Thanks, Carol

I am so sorry...I too have gained weight. But it is near that time of the month...so I am not worried yet. I struggle with my water, I do get my protein in but the water is really hard for me. YOu will start to loose again...just relax. I on the other hand am hoping that Aunt Flo will hurry up and come to town! Hugs and Stay Strong!!! Traci

Topic: 1 month check up!`
So today I went for my 1 month follow up appt and I am down 40 pounds I was very surprised because it doesn't feel like I've lost anything. A few people have noticed and made comments but I still look the same to me. Hope everyone is doing well!

Can anyone tell me the difference in the sugars and sugar alcohol in products. I've noticed when I buy some sugar-free products they have sugar alcohols in them. I'm not sure what that is or if it will cause dumping syndrome.

Hi Lou, First off- Congratulations on the weight loss. Thanks for the support. We need you guys to keep us on track and tell us what to expect further down the road. I had my surgery on 8/31/06 down 24lbs and have stalled a bit but am not worried only because the post that you older ones have posted. I only hope I am not a slow loser. I eat about 1/4 cup right now and have heard the further out you go the more you can hold. Is this true? If so, about how much. I heard one lady say at 2 1/2 years out she can eat 10 oz. Hope to hear from you. Thanks again!! Sharon
