I do the Isopure also. Lots of protein. I like some flavors better than others. Grape is one of my favorites. It's nice to have a non-creaming protein source sometimes. Dianna

One of the ways I make my protein goal is to drink Isopure ready to drink. They have different flavors. A 20 ounce bottle has 40 grams of protein. The Grape Frost tastes like grape Koolaid. It is sugar free. I have one a day and it helps me make goal. Congratulations on the tremedous weight loss. That is awesome. Hugs, Trish

I had my surgery August 1st, and today, the scale shows I am down 50 pounds. I cannot believe it - in such a short time! I still feel a little tired during the day, but am struggling to get the protein in. If I concentrate on getting enough water in, the protein seems to suffer. And the shakes still suck - although I am finding the ProScore chocolate tolerable if I mix it. Can I have Cool Whip? The sugar free kind?

My docs have me on a very strict diet. First week post op is clear liquids. Weeks 2 and 3 are full liquids. Weeks 4 and 5 are pureed foods. Week 6 is soft foods. Week 7 is when I can eat normal foods. For protein drinks have you tried Isopure ready made drinks. They come in 20 ounce bottles. The grape tastes like grape Koolaid. They have 40 grams of protein in one bottle. I am thrilled with them. For making drinks at home, my favorite is to take 1 cup of orange juice and a peach peeled and cut up and some blueberries and AnyWhey protein powder and mix it in a blender. It has 17 grams of protein in it. Good luck. Hugs, Trish

Congratulations on your weight loss. That is wonderful. I was told to expect to lose 10% of my excess weight by week 6. I have lost 6% and it is week 2. Good luck with your continued weight loss. Hugs, Trish
