Man, am I!
Water is really tough. I'm managing to get almost all of my protein in with the help of milk (which also counts towards my liquids). I'm supposed to get 43g protein and 64oz liquid. 8oz milk = 8g protein. 5C milk = 40oz liuid = 40g protein
Topic: 1 month 30lb 9 inches
Ok, actually it's 28 days, 28.1 pounds, 9 inches, but I was told I should hit 30 by the 15th.
It's official. The surgery is actually working. It's measureable. And my stupid scale at home that has been telling me I haven't lost anything for 2 weeks is going to find a new home very soon.
I asked my nurse if I can keep losing 30 lb/month. She said no.
I wi**** was going faster! I still feel like the great lump I was before. Wouldn't mind if I dropped another size in clothes or something. I can see the change in my face a bit, so I decided to update my pic, plus the other picture is 4+ years old and looks blue.
Onward and upward (or downward, I'm not sure)!

Topic: RE: WORK?
Hi Traci!
I had surgery on 8/16/2006 and went back to work full time on August 28th (1.5 weeks post surgery). I was going crazy when I was home.
I had some energy problems in the beginning, but now that I have progressed to pureed foods, I have been doing better!
The positive thing is that since returning to work, the weeks have been flying by and I will be on soft regular foods two weeks from tomorrow!! Yea!
Good Luck to you!

Topic: RE: Almost 3 weeks post-op
Hi Chris,
Sounds like you are doing so well!! Congratulations.
I am not eating yet!!! Still on clear liquids plus protein shakes.
But according to everything I read...you are right on track.
As far as protein shakes....I use Isopure now and Muscle Milk....I also use Unjury but the smell just gets to me.
Good Luck!

Leslie,
That is good to know that the energy level increases when you get back to a normal routine...that is my fear. Right now I am getting 10 hours of sleep at night and a daily nap....whew!
