Topic: Cheryl L. is on the Loser's Bench!!
Cheryl finally had her surgery at 5:45 last night!! What a long day of waiting for her. Her husband was so nice to keep me posted all day and called at 8:00 last night and she was out. Everything went fine! And she is now on the losing bench with the rest of us!!!

Topic: RE: New here, surgery 8/24
Hi Jan and everyone else,
My date is also the 24th. I am very excited and I am sure that this is the right option for me. I am also nervous. My biggest fear is the unknown and the pain. I just pray for the strength and courage for myself and all of us. We can do it and we will be great when all is said and done.
My pre-op was today, 3 hours in the hospital ugh! Everything is pretty much all set. Ionly have to do a liquid diet for 24 hours before the surgery. I feel for you folks that have to do 7-10 days. God Bless.

Jen,
Thanks soooo much for the update. I am glad that you are feeling so well. I went for pre-op testing today and have been feeling a little nervous about the post-op pain. I guess I can take a deep breath and get through it. I look forward to your next post.
