my oldest son(21) stayed with me.I told my husband to go to work,that I'd be high all day anyway.It worked out well.

Topic: First Followup with PCP

Hi Everybody, I just got back from my first followup with my PCP. He took me off another bp med (so only one now). I am down 20 lbs in just 2 weeks, I just can't believe that much in such a short period of time. I still get tired really easy, but I was very anemic when I left the hospital. So he said it would take some time to get all my strength back. Hope everyone is doing well!!!!!!!!! Patty

Wow Jen, I'm encouraged to hear how well your doing, those pain meds. really work. Just take it slow and don't over do it, but walk walk walk is your best bet, so they say. I go tomarrow for my surgery,

my mind is thinking way to hard. I'll pray for a speedy recovery for you and everyone else on this message board.

I understand the bouncing off the walls. My surgery is next Monday, 21st and I can't wait to have it. I feel like a cacoon about to emerge into a butterfly and start a new and exciting life. My prayers are with all of you that are about to embark on a new adventure, The Butterflies.

Thank you for the info on pain. I will be sure to take the pain meds. I have been gung hoe thinking oh this will be okay, I can go back to work right after surgery. I think I'll just use my sick leave and stay home. Ha
