Topic: My date is 8/28!! Who all needs to be there with me?
Im wondering if my husband needs to be there or if he should stay home and run things at the house since my mom is coming with me.
Anyone have suggestions on family attendance at the hospital?
Will I need someone there at all times on surgery day and night?
Right now Im asking him to stay home with the kids, of course they are grown now...18 and 15, so they wont NEED him...but I wonder since the hospital is one hour away...what we should do....
I simply can not decide and just wondered if anyone had any pointers.

I wish they would take out my gall bladder while they are in there...I may ask them too...I know it will give me problems...but finding a growth like that is unreal.

I tell ya I bounce back quickly too and only PLAN on taking ONE WEEK to recover...but Im not going to be dumb like I was after my hystorectomy...I stayed out 6 days...that was totally insane!

Welcome and goodluck on your surgery. My surgery is scheduled for Monday August the 21, 2006 and I am like you getting nervous. My sister is two years post-op told me that I will be ok.

First of all congrats on your new you!!!! You have done a wonderful job with losing already. Ok now do dish how you have lost so much so quickly???? What kinds of foods are you eating and what exercises are you up to now. My weight loss was going so quickly and it seems to be slowing wayyyyy down sigh. I almost think it is close to that time of the month ( i dont want to gain the normal 5-10 lbs )
You are going back to work so quickly compaired to me. I am on a weight restriction of no lifting >5lbs for 6 weeks and I work in an ICU so there is no light duty. What type of nursing do you do?????
