Chris and Lisa, glad you are both doing well. I got home yesterday and am also doing well...just a little shakey and weak. I did the same thing with the food trays..kept them until the next was delivered. I wasn't able to eat everything either but I didn't want to overdo it. Off we go ladies....to our new lives!

I am having the Lap RNY on wednesday aug. 16th and can't wait. I wanted the RNY because it has a great amount of weight loss sooner, and I didn't care for the maintenance with the lapband.

Topic: Home from surgery!
I got home yesterday from the hospital. I felt great yesterday. Today I am a little weak so I am upping my sipping and walking. I have no pain whatsoever and my incisions look like they are two weeks out instead of 4 days out! I updated my profile if anyone is interested in my surgery story. Good to be home.

WOW they put you through the ringer all at once, didn't they? But hey, you got alot of it done. Glad you are at ease now. The pre-op diet isn't too bad, I am on day 9 today, and surviving it. haha Really, it will be well worth it when you step on the scale. I had my last pre-op appt yesterday, along with bloodwork, as my surgery is wednesday the 16th. Anyway, I lost 6lbs. in a week!! YEAH...it is so nice to see the scales go down instead of up. I wish you the best of luck on everything, it will be here before you know it.

CONGRATULATIONS Lea on getting a surgery date. It will be here before you know it. Good luck on your pre-op diet, just remember it will all be well worth it. I have been on my pre-op diet for 9 days. It isn't that bad, especially when you see the results it shows you on the scale. My big day is Aug. 16, I can't wait. Best of luck to you.
