On saturday I am having my last meals, sunday is all liquids and i might ues a laxative saturday night. No solid all day sunday and then monday at 945 bingo. I have protein drinks ready to go when i return, i'll be in the hospital a day the surgery is laproscopic

nervous also but confident in the surgeon, i have been storing up on protein drinks that have lots of protein and are low in carb and fat and sugar. Heard that your taste buds change so i stopped and decided to see what works

finally got another date (well i've had it for a while but..)!! after being cancelled back in feb due to anemia, i'm finally on my way. this process had been a long one but i know pass or fail it will be totally worth it. i'm scheduled for a RNY on 8/26 with Dr. Schweitzer at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. my younger sister is scheduled just a week after i am but she's getting the DS in 2 stages. we're so excited and ready to travel this road together. my older sister had rny back in feb and she is doing great (already down 80 lbs!!) i couldn't imagine going through this with out them. good luck to everyone, see y'all on the losers bench

8 weeks out: 219.6. 12 weeks out: 198.
NORMAL WEIGHT REACHED MARCH 2011 (153 lbs.).
Goal BMI: In the normal range, please -- somewhere between 22-24
Clothing size 26/28 (triple X) before surgery in August of 2010.
March 2011 clothing size: 10/12 (large)

I'm clapping for myself, cause I DO NOT like surgery!
My only nervousenss right now is that my insurance company is still showing "pending" for the approval status. A co-worker told me her's and her husbands' approvals from the same company were last minute approvals as well.
