I still hurt a bit on the left side, but I've read that's normal.
Still having a difficult time getting in the full 90 of protien...I've made it to 80 both today & yesterday, but I've gotta work harder on that.
Doing good with the vitamins.
I'll be happy when I get my voice back. The intubation did some damage to my
vocals. People have been calling me squeek since surgery.
Getting in the two ounces at meals is better since I got home cause I have nifty
baby food.
I've found out that babyfood bananas, which I used to love, are too sweet.
I was worried that my 2yr old daughter, Sophia, would try to hop on my stomach. I just showed her my stomach and explained that mommy had "Bad Owwies" and she hasn't tried to climb on me. she's a smart cookie.
Well, I'm going to make myself pace around the living room 5 or 6 times.
Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know...I came home late yesterday afternoon. Surgery was a success. So far, so good. I'm just sore and tired. My temp is up and down - one minute I'm hot, the next I'm cold - this must be from having surgery?! I'm on colace, when should I be expecting a bm???
Thanks for all of the well wishes.
Hope everyone is doing well.

The Mississippi Board has 2 posters who are having surgery next Tuesday, September 16th.
AnitaHeath (http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/anitaheath/) is having the RNY done in Birmingham (UAB) by Dr. Ronald Clements.
Jay Harper (http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/jayharper09/) is having the RNY done in Pascagoula (Singing River Hospital) by Dr. William Avara.
They are both friends of mine and I know both of them would covet your prayers for safety and success in their surgeries.
