Wow you and I must have been seperated at birth, this is the first message I have ever posted and I would have typed yours almost word for word!! I had my surgery on November 24th and did extremely well the first few months. I have since lost 84lbs (originally I was 280). And am having the same problems that you are. It seems that I am more hungry now than I used to be, even though small amounts do fill me up faster. I have gained the CRAVING of sweets that was not a problem for the first few months, I guess the fear kept me from trying them, but since I have it's like I can't stop. They do make me a little sick to my stomach but not enough to sway my eating. I have also hit a platau in the past few weeks. There were two woman that had surgery the same day I did, at the same hospital and we all keep in touch, seems like they are also having the same problems. I just keep telling myself that I have come so far! I don't believe that I can ever go back to what I was before the surgery, physically or mentally. I am happy with the way I look and feel now, but I don't want to be stuck here. I am hoping with summer approaching that my activity will give me a jump start! If you need some support shoot me an email, we can work through the rough spots together! Jessica

Some days I feel like I could eat a truck load of food. I have developed a bad habit of taking 6-8 oz's of food and eating it over a 1-2 hour time period. I did this today with some Thai string bean chicken that I ate over a 2 hour time frame. I have lost 115 lbs and I to am stuck. I am at 199 with a goal of 150. I don't feel like I will ever get there. I know what I should do but I can't seem to do it. I still don't do sweets or much carbs but going to the kitchen all night long for "just one more bite" of chicken can not be good. Hopefully I can get myself back on track. Melissa

Ladies, Im much the same way. I did super good in the beginning and did my exercises and only indulged in a bite or two of "bad" stuff. Then I hit my second personal goal of losing 100lbs and everything is shot to (doggy doo). I cant seem to get the motivation to hit the gym and now Ive got a summer cold along with my toddler and cant go anyway. I do feel so much better about myself but I just dont have the umph to go. I am eating a little more then before but then Ive never been able to eat a "full" meal since the surgery. Ive always had trouble eating the amount I should. Now most the time I can or even a little more. I do get HUNGRY but a little fills fast. I do take my supplements and I keep my liquids going pretty good. I also found out recently that the scale I was using at the gym is way off so now I dont even have a scale to use to keep track. I dont know if I can wait another 3 months for my next doc visit lol. But, on the brighter side we are all doing fabulous and should be very proud of ourselves for taking such a huge step to improve our health. Charlotte nov 26th, 03 375/275/???

Hello. Yesterday was my 33rd bday and I have been alittle down. I am six months out and have only lost 80 lbs. I started at 262 and am down to 180. But I have a friend who has lost 20 more than me in the same amout of time almost. I have went from a 24 (tight) to a 14 so that I am happy about. But I found out yesterday when I took a small peice of ice cream cake that I only feel naseous and dont dump. I think that there are times when I graze, but I have not lost anything in the past 6 weeks - and am trying to find a way to shock my system. Keep smiling

I am in the same boat as all of yall are. I had my surgery 11/24. I can't seem to budge the scale lower than 193 and it is making me crazy. The docs office said *eat more food*. Sounds counter-productive to me. And I hate that I don't dump on sugar - at least I have not yet, but I keep it under the 20 gram marker. And it is rare I get sugared food. I am going to redo my workout plan and hope that helps. I have also tried stepping up the water and tea. Also, I found a 50gram premixed shake. I add the milk or water and it comes in a ready to go shaker bottle.. Its from OSMO. That is breakfast. I hope this will all start things moving again............................
