East Carolina Bound???
I don't have a husband to have trouble with, but I'm definitely in the same boat as you on the weight loss plateau. I haven't lost much since last October or so, varying between -90 and -100. Until lately I've been sitting pretty steady at -100, with 5 to go to get to onderland. I did make the scale go down to -103 last week by drastically cutting out the carbs and upping the protein to 120-150 grams per day but this week I'm back up a couple. The carbs that I do eat I try to confine to a few whole grain products, occasional fresh fruit, green veggies.
I had my thyroid checked to make sure that my medication levels were OK.
I had been upping my exercise, until I landed in PT with tendonitis in my right shoulder (and I'm right handed). I can't say that thte exercise has revolutionized my metabolism. I would like to sign up at my local Y with one of their trainers to develop a weight program for me, but can't do that until I get my shoulder straightened out. Right now it is too painful, although the strength is gradually increasing.
I vary in the sizes I wear. My jeans are 16W, although in some other brands I wear a 20W. Some shirts/blouses I wear are size 16, but I have one on today that says it is a 22 and I'm not drowning. If I'd get to a size 14, I'd be happy.
good luck finding what works for you,
Sue O.
