Topic: X-post Help tooth pain question
I broke a tooth off last Friday, went to the dentist he put a temporary cap on there ****il my permanent one comes in)  but I am having a CONSTANT tooth ache.  I called the dentist back he said the only thing he prescribes is Ibuprofen.  I explained to him that I couldn't take that so he said just to take extra strength Tylenol.  I had already been taking taking that but hasn't even touched the pain!!

My question is>>>>  Can we take Tylenol with codeine in it?  Also is that something that causes drowsiness?

If we can't take that does anyone have any suggestions on what to take?

thanks everyone. hopefully, it will do well tomorrow. my ankle wound is still very visible but does not look as ba anymore. Now everyone pls. keep your fingers crossed for me not to eat anything w/"bloating" effect until tomorrow so my suit does not look too tight

also, need to try to look older than 33(my actual age). it's for a high-level attorney-management position and, based on my resume they may be expecting someone older...and i still get carded at bars sometimes

Love,

Diana-

You are not alone-there is no way i would have dreamed that i would gain weight either. I am over 200 again...I SWORE not all that long ago that i would not let that happen. What would be worse though, i think is if we gained it ALL back.....so stopping at the 25 -35 lbs will be much easier to handle than starting over again. Every day is a new day, and i take comfort in knowing that i am not alone and i hope that you can too. I know that life gets in the way and that you are very involved with your children- but we can do this. I just came back from a 15 year anniversary celebration for a co-worker- generally i try and opt out of eating out but i could not get out of this....at a very yummy Italian restaurant i ate 2 meatballs & a salad. I did not even look at the breadbasket...if i even would have had a crumb of bread i would have eaten a loaf. So day 2 i am still on the wagon too....Hang in there. I have to meet my trainer tonight so that keeps me motivated - as well. She is going to hurt me just so everyone on here knows-

hugs to everyone who is struggling today......

Hi Dawn
I had a REALLY bad weekend 2 last week which carried over to ALL last week. I am day 2 of back on track and (knock wood) doing well so far.
Never did I think I would have gained back 35 of what I had lost..I know I need to get PAST this but I dwell on it daily!!!
I think part of it is it is a embarressment when people know you had this surgery and what you went through and you are still FAT!! I know this is something I need to get PAST!!

Thank u so much Dawn!  I hope I can help, it is all I ever wanna do is help anyone I can.  So many people have helped me along my way from this board to the rest of OH to in real life (my angel, my husband), I just want to keep the "pay it forward" ball rolling and try to break down the stereotypes etc that is linked with obesity.  Thanks again!
