I had lap surgery 3 weeks ago, is it too soon to ride my 4-wheeler?

I would say ask your doctor... I am having Lap done Tuesday and the doc told me that I could resume regular activities in 3 weeks... ! Btw, what do you ride ? I have a 204 Yamaha Grizzly... Son, that thing is bad!! God bless!

Hi Greg! I ride a 325 Polaris Trail Boss. I waited 2 weeks before I rode it. I had laproscopic surgery 5 weeks ago and I'm back to riding all the time. Yesterday was a little rough because of where we rode (over alot of rocks), I could feel my insides hurting a little bit. I live in the coal region so we have alot of stripping area and mountains to ride. My whole family has atv's, so we usually ride pretty much. Good luck with your surgery. I'm down 44 lbs in 5 weeks and looking forward to losing alot more.

Hello out there ..we just got atv's and man are they fun. We found a place to go ride about an hour from where we live and its on 650+ acreas. It was awesome. My sweet hubby was so surpised that I kept up with him,,,hehehe Actually I'm sure he was holding back a bit but we had such a good time. I found out too that even though I ride my motorcycle a lot I'm not using the same muscles so me and Ben Gay are really tight these days!! haha Have a great week everyone Alfreda

I know this is an old thread but really glad it's here! I'm still waiting for my surgery date, but one of my questions was about riding! I just got an '03 LT-Z400 and I really love it! But I don't love all the pain I have in my hands and arms the next day... I hope a lot of that goes away after my surgery and losing! I spent yesterday out in the CA desert... after crawling around in some rocks up into a little quiet canyon I ran out of gas... bummer... my friend let me syphon... but gas tastes really... um... well, less than good... has anyone ever figured out the nutritional value???
