The surgical videos? To be honest I have only seen one video, my friend had it done in Mexico and I watched his sleeve procedure and that was enough for me. It's not that I get queezy or anything but I just don't want to see it ha ha!
Or tranformations? I google before and after photos as well, I also read about people's journey's to find what worked for them or not. I cannot believe how many people have gone through WLS.
I have my first appointment with the study on the 13th, glad to finally get the ball rolling!

I'm so excited!! Is there anyone on youtube that you were drawn to and watched their video's more than anyone else. Sometimes I think that I have gone through them all then out of nowhere someone new pop's up. I really enjoy watching videos with tips and before and after pics.

Day 8 of my liquid diet, it is going well . . . My surgeon prefers 3 weeks of liquid prior to surgery. I am not hungry but it is difficult to deal with lunch time at work and what to do with myself after work when I would usually be preparing supper. I do however love the fact of NO dishes to do and it is a no brainer packing my lunch bag in the morning ha ha!!

Apparently the red deer hospital recommends premier protein from costco so you could give that a try. I'm guessing the extra vitamins and things in the ensure are whats making your belly turn.

I can't help feel that their should be more options available...
I would like to use Isagenix cleanse for life for a week out of the two just because I feel it would do the job quite well. I am going to ask at the hospital when I do my pre-surgery exam if this is an option. I might have to run it by the nutritionalist. I guess we will see soon enough :)

My computer has been my best friend with countless hours spent/los****ching and analyzing everyone's video's. I use "lost" lightly. I call it research :)

Yeah, that's what I figured would happen. Panic will set in once I'm at the hospital. I'm hoping they give me a sedative to bring me back to earth ;)
Were the youtube videos right with their packing for the hospital or did you find that you wished you had brought something? Was your stay in the hospital 3 plus days? Lots of the videos show the patient coming home the next day.

They recommend Ensure but my husband does protein shakes every morning and he asked same question. I have an appt next wednesday, so I will ask then.
Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy I guess ; /
