got my surgery date - October 14th!

Hi all. My surgery date is confirmed. 

I am a bit stuck and backsliding into binge eating a bit. Going to TOPS meetings helps tho. I go on liquid diet sept 14. I had hoped to be 10 lbs lighter than I am today but taking things one day at a time. still, excited and hopeful! Very much so!

The liquid diet will help you lose some weight. I lost 13# on the liquid diet pre-surgery, so that helped out alot.

Keep up the good work! Its a marathon, not a sprint!

Hello, yes, Victoria with Dr. Malick. I am so ready and just want the surgery now... but patience and mindfulness and putting everything I have learned last year into practise helps. Less than 45 days! Yay! Grateful for this gift and how it came into my life. 

hello had my surgery  a sleeve on july 6 2015.i am 65 years old and it has been the best decision i could have made.i know you will do well i am down 29 pounds since then and follow all the rules.That is the key to success.best of luck and i know you will do well and be proud of yourself.All best wishes mamaj aka joan fanning.

Congrats on your surgery date! You must be so excited. You will do great with your liquid diet, youve got this! 

My surgery is Oct 7th with Dr Lam :) she's in the same office as with Malik. I'm on day 3 of the liquid diet and it's not as bad as I feared. Pour your shakes over ice...makes them go down way easier :)
