Got my date for revision!

I'm so excited I got the long awaited call... I'm having my revision surgery with Dr. Amson on Aug. 4th!!! 3 weeks.. going to start my preop clear fluids tomorrow.  I had a sleeve done by Dr. Amson in 2009 but it's stretched out so I'm getting resleeved.

WOW! That is great. I was told no surgeons in BC would ever give revision surgeries as BC med does not allow them. This is good news. I had surgery in 2010 but didn't do very well even though I followed rules. I asked about revision but was told in BC revisions are not possible. What made you decide on a revision?

How did you get revision approved? I had rny with dr. Malik 2011, a year later I had hernia repair, and a week later, my dad died.  I spent the next year drinking, eating and in a huge depression.
