Has this happened to anyone and what does it mean???
Ok so I have been on this stall for a month now and am getting really frustrated with it. I weighted myself a few days ago and I was 156 and then this morning I got on the scale and I was 157. WTF??? I went walking yesterday 2 times and have been walking almost nightly. I don't get it. Am I done losing? I dont' want to be done losing. Please help me understand this Cali Crew......
Thanks so much

First of all I'd be freakin' excited to hit 156...but that's not the point. :D
Perhaps you're retaining some water weight? If you're eating salty foods and not drinking enough water your body might hold on to the water, making you a little bit heavier.
Just a random guess...I'm sure someone else will have a totally different take.
(PS: I didn't find your dress at my wal-mart but I found something just as cute for less than $20!)
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Hi, Willa--
Since I haven't gotten to the loser's bench myself yet, I don't really have any tips for you. I just wanted to say that I am sorry you're feeling frustrated. They do say that the last ten pounds are the hardest. From what I have read here and elsewhere, some people have been able to jump start their weight loss with the 5 Day Pouch Test ( http://www.5daypouchtest.com/ ) or by following "The Rules of the Pouch ( http://www.nikkiinmd.com/pouch_rules.htm ). Have you measured yourself lately? Perhaps you have been replacing fat with muscle, and you are shrinking, but the scale just isn't showing it yet. You sure look fantastic! Anyway, I hope your frustration ends soon, one way or another!

If you haven't already, I suggest you go to your surgery month's board. You may find that a lot of you are going through the same plateau. But, crap girl- you are doing WONDERFULLY!!

156??? Girl, I'm dreaming about that day
But anyway, i am a SLOOOOOWWWW loser and I began stalling a month out from surgery for a month at a time. They say it's because I was considered a lightweight (imagine that). i"ve come to terms with it. I still do what I'm suposed to do...as frustrating as it is at times....all our bodies are different. .I keep on doing it. EVentually my body let's go of the weight and I'll see a nice drop. The nice thing is that I've been measuring since before surgery too....so when I'm at a stall, I'll measure and sure enough...even though the scale is a LIER and can't be trusted
, the inches don't lie...and they fall off even during my stalls. Don't always trust what the scale says to determine your success.
There are stalls and plateaus for all of us on this journey...You're probably not done losing since youre less than a year out...I'd keep doing what you were doing to get you to 156 and you'll see a drop soon...believe me, I"ve been there so many times...
