My first plane trip since WLS

Hi guys!  Sitting in a hotel room with Tim (who is down close to 95#s) in Las Vegas.  Going to be getting up VERRRRY early tomorrow morning...3am if you must know for a 5:50 flight....lol  We're flying to Atlanta, GA for a leadership conference with our church.  My logical self knows that I'll fit in the seat better now that I'm down 153#s, but my emotional self doesn't have a new experience to replace those old fears with, so please pray for me that I'll sleep well and have a fear free flight.  It did dawn on me that I fit just fine in the seats at Petco Park (the home of the Padres downtown here) so I think it will be fine.  I'm always concerned about the seat belt, but I think that will be ok as well. I brought Xanax with me just in case....although, they truly do their job, I don't want to take it till I'm on the flight, don't want to look "out of it" to the TSA folks...LOL  Sorry I'm not on here more...but I do think of you guys often and do see quite a few of you on Facebook and I love you all.  I'll check back in after we get to Atlanta and give a praise report! xo Kim

Have a safe flight Kim. I totally understand what you mean about fitting in the seats. You can do it and when you do it come back here and tell us all about it. I haven't flown yet but I have done some other things that I was scared to do. One was today but I will start my own post. LOL

Dear Heavenly Father,  I come to you today to  ask you for peace for my dear friend Kim.  Please dear lord bring her a peaceful sleep tonight.  She is going to a conference for her church in the morning and has to take a flight in the morning.  She is so worried God, I ask that you bring her peace and wrap your arms around her tonight and again in the morning so she will be fresh upon her arrival in Atlanta.  Please be with our Kim while she at this conference with her husband Tim.  May they learn what you have planned in advance for them to learn.  Lord I ask that you guide them and be with them during this trip.  I ask that you bless them with your wisdom.  I ask these things in Jesus' precious name.

Oh Rhonda, you brought tears to my eyes...good thing my mascara is waterproof!  LOL  Thank you so much for that prayer.  I felt it last night.  Had a great nights sleep.  Got picked up at the hotel and taken to the airport at 4am.  Can you say tired?  Whew!  We just got thru security really quickly, thank you Jesus for early flights!  I just went over to the window where I can see our plane and laid virtual hands on it for safety...Tim said we're safe now...LOL  Thank you for your prayers, please continue to keep us in prayer for safety while we're all in Atlanta and that the hearts of all attending would be open to what God has for us, cuz we know it's all good.   Thanks my angelette, love you!  Give my Lexie girl a smooch from "her Kim". xo  God bless you.  Kim

Get those fears out of your head right now....you are gonna fit in that seat with room to spare and that seat belt is gonna have a long end on it where you pull it tight.....tons of room to spare....I do understand the feeling though but let me tell you...after having just flown a couple of weeks ago it is awesome to have all that room...and to actually have the tray be able to come down...and be able to cross my legs (in an airplane seat no less) and be comfortable....

Prayers for a safe flight...can't wait till you get back and tell us all how much room there was...

I can't wait to take my first flight.  If it's up to Doug that would be never again but we will fly.  I am hoping that I can still do our trip to NY in Oct, right now it don't look too good.

Wishing you a great trip and that you will be safe, of course you are, and I know that once you get your butt in the seat, your seat belt fits and you get to eat like a real person with your tray down, you won't need no stickin Xanax!

Can't wait to hear about that trip.

Girl do you ever sleep?  Or do you go to bed like at 7:30 p.m.  I don't think that is the case!  lol.  Hope all is well with you!  I sure had an awesome time in Vegas with you!  You are a dear and a lot of fun!  We must do something again soon.

Oh yes I sleep sometimes but I just can not seem to sleep in the morning....lol....I was out of it yesterday afternoon with a major tummy ache (can yousay to much SF candy - YUCK)  Anyway...Vegas was a blast and I have a couple of pcs for you...did I send you all of the pics Itook via email?  I made copies of the ones from the show....the one with you and me and the one of the 4 of us....Are you gonna be at LB coffee this month?  If so Iwill bring them there...if not email me your address and I will send them to you .... also have the black dress for you as well...Ok well time to go dry my hair...I have a nail appt today then to target to get some $$ back because the vacuum I bought on Sat was on sale on Sunday....figures huh...at least they will give me the diff back..
