New Product From Orowheat

Have you seen the new "sandwich thins" from Orowheat?

Found them quite by accident the other day, and just tried one. They are like a very thin slice of a hamburger bun...perfect for us WLS patients....they'll probably be a little messy with a big hamburger, but, strong enough to hold onto a thin patty...

I just toasted one, sprinkled some grated cheese on top and had a mini cheese sammie...

Good source of fiber...

anyone else tried 'em? What do you think? I bet they'd be perfect for a tuna sammie, or even a melted tuna sammie... hmm... more ideas for another day!

My daughter  loves them. I have found them in multi grain and whole wheat. She eats her sandwiches on them every day. One bun has half the calories of 2 slices of regular bread too.

Earthgrains has them too now.  Same nutritional info as the orowheat but I like the tast a bit better.  I do think they are wonderful!  That is what we use for all of our bread now.  Glad you found them.  They have been around for a couple of months now.  I hope they don't be one ofthose things that they make temporarily and then go away for use to never see them again!  That wouldn't be nice :-)

i'm so glad to have found them!! Is Earthgrains a brand at the regular store? i'll check that one out, too... i might have found a way to bring bread back into my life in a healthy way!

I hear ya on the job situation... i'm so torn: happy to have a job, of course, but so tired of working for 30+ years...eager for retirement....hoping it might come sooner rather than later!

My roomie bought them last month and I love them!!  I made a turkey burger, tuna, regular sandwich just LOVE them!!

i love them.....................I use one half to make eggs benedict for breakfast! yum!

Earthgrains aare hooked in with Sara Lee Breads.  I figure they are all over CA, but not positive because they did buy out our local sourdough company here and I had never heard of them before.  30+ years of teaching.........WOW!!!!  My hat is off to you.

Make you a deal.  If I win more than $10,000,000 in the lottery, I will give some to ya!!!

I love um! Costco sells them and they freeze great. We use them for turkey burgers.

I can only eat half, bread fills me way too full.
