Good morning Cali!  I am surprised that there is no good morning post and as I type someone is probably typing along with me.  Today is day 2 of my Fakacation and I am loving it.  Yesterday was a nice and relaxing day.  I got to work around 9, went to lunch around 12 and got back to the office around 2 and left around 3.  ahhhhh it was  tough day.

I know a lot of us are not working all week, so what's on your agenda for the Holiday?  What are you doing?  Lil man and I will be going to a x-mas eve party and celebrating Santa the very next morning before he goes off to his dad's for the day.  I know you are all going to be jealous, but  I am running 14 miles on X-mas day.  Yippppeeee.  I know your jealous.  You too can run.

Remember, that life is precious and tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us so live life to the fullest!  Live. Laugh. Love!

Have a great day!

This holiday bring happiness and love to our house more so then ever. I am working Christmas Eve 6am-2:30pm

My son and I will be sitting up waiting for Santa to stop in. We promised him cookies and his reindeer some nice treats as well.

I love Christmas time, it reminds me of the first Christmas my hubby and I spent together.

God bless our troops

Good Morning!!!  Good thing I didn't post when I noticed no good morning post or we would've posted at the same time!  LOL

Two more days of work and I get a 10 day "staycation".  Hopefully going to just relax....nothing really planned.

On Christmas day I will be going to my grandmothers in the late afternoon.....and I will be going for a short run in the morning.  Why a short run?  Because I was good and did my 14 miles last weekend when I was supposed to!!!!!!  :-P

Good Soggy Tuesday Morning,

I thought I was driving to work in a monsoon.  I guess I shouldn't complain though.  Mike's mom in MA can't even get out of her house.  She has just enough room to let the dog out the back door to do his business.  So no complaining from me.

Just a couple more days of work and then it's off for a long weekend.  Mike has Thursday off but I have to work.  I'm sure we'll get out early, but exactly what time I'm not sure.  I'm guessing around 1:00 or so.

I think I got all my shopping done last night.  Christmas day we will be going to my son's place.  His girlfriend is making a roast and I'll be bringing along a turkey breast, green beans and dessert.  They have a tiny apartment but are so excited about having everyone over there.  Fortunately they have a little patio that opens up to the entire pool/stream area around their complex and it is lovely to sit outside and watch the ducks.  So I think it will be a very nice day.

Well I guess it's time to get some work done.  Hope everyone has a great day.  Drive carefully in this weather if it is raining where you are.

Morning Lola and Cali gang

Today finds more of the same..work, work, and then a little more work...then I get to go home!  Went to support group last nite; kinda disappointed as the meeting was rather 'disjointed' since our regular facilitator was awol.    I would have liked more discussion about stratagizing on how to avoid temptations over Christmas, maybe how to make receipes sugar free, how to deal with family that think you should eat more, etc etc etc; instead we talked about one of the groups trip to Disneyland and another's great deal she got at 24hour fitness.  Now I love Disneyland and I wish I could afford a gym...I just like to keep my meetings separated..one for support (topics, discussions, etc) and one or more for social gatherings (NoCal Luncheon for one). I know, that's just me ;-(  And I always have the Cali Forum to come 'home' to for all the support I need ^_^

Hope everyone has a fantastic day; we have sunshine and maybe mid 50's for temps here in the upper central valley.  Christmas and the weekend are suppose to be beautiful...clear, sunny and semi-warm..sounds good to me ^_^
