Thought I'd slip in and introduce myself since I've been lurking for quite some time. My name is Jana and I'm scheduled for RNY on 12/17.  I live in Colorado Springs and my surgeon is Dr. Chae.  I'm excited and scared at the same time.   Hope to "meet" you all soon! Jana

Are you from Nebraska?  I'm originally from No. Platte, UNL grad, back to NP then out to Colorado.  On our wedding cake we had Colorado and Husker miniture football players! Do you go to the Friday night support group at Penrose?  I haven't been there yet, but may get there after surgery.  Let me know and I'd love to meet you. Jana

Welcome!  (even though you are a Husker Fan )  Dr Chae was my surgeon too.  I love him dearly! And if you weren't scared I would worry. Maybe we will meet at one of Dr Chae's support groups one of these months! I will keep you in my thoughts for your surgery! Mari

Hi Mari -  Hey no dissing the Huskers!  We've just been reorganizing for a few YEARS....  I'd love to meet you at one of the support groups.  I plan on going as soon as I can.  I figure a Thursday night drive is okay once a month.  Are there many from Colorado Springs there? Go Huskers..I grew up in Nebraska--my blood runs red!  Congrats on the upcoming surgery!
