Good Monday Morning Cali

Hi guys!  We got back from Phx last night around 10.  Whew!  We ended up leaving the race early because Tim wasn't able to take today off, and I was concerned about the long drive home, with both of us being tired and we were possibly going to hit cruddy weather,  Anyhoo, Tim really enjoyed his first NASCAR race.  We stayed in Scottsdale, it's really lovely there.  Went to breakfast on Saturday in old Scottsdale at a terrific place called Cafe Carumba!  Sat out on their patio and it was bliss!  Then walked around old Scottsdale, and more shopping on at a cute little place called Two Plates Full and picked up some Christmas gifts! Then we went back to the hotel and jumped in the pool!  Wow, that was nice! Drove out to Harrahs and had all you can eat crab, they always make money on me, lol  We got up Sunday and drove to the park and ride and jumped on the school bus, dang, I know I have long legs, but holy moly!  Tim calls me the giraffe when he drives the car after me...lol  It was pretty warm when we first got to the race, then pretty soon the clouds came along, which was nice, but then that brought a few blops of big fat rain drops!  They called a red flag and all the cars dove into pit row.  Oh yeah, we got scanners, and that was totally cool!  And they served a second purpose to save our hearing...LOL  I'd forgotten how LOUD a race is!  Anyhow, we left early and I'd do the same thing again, sorry we missed JJ win, but when we left him he had a good lead.  I think we're going to try and make it to Fontana in Feb! I took today and Tuesday off to do some things around the house.  I'm pretty sure we're going to Toms Farms next weekend, so we'll see you there.  Sorry Diane, I only saw Jr going by a little too fast for me to get an autograph, I did yell for you!  xo  Kim

Jade's birthday was nice. We did a small family get together, which was easy compared to her first birthday with at least 30+ guests! lol. Hubby has a HUGE family. Here is a pic of my big 2 year old!

Janine Glad you forgive me for my typo error!  I never want the rep of being a stalker!  lol.

You want to hear how far I have planned I was done Christmas shopping a week before Thanksgiving!  lol.   I usually wrap all the gifts the day after Thanksgiving kind of a Tradition.  I also had to get ready for Dec. 6th the Day Father Christmas comes and visits us.  Long Story, but I will tell you more later this week it is really fun.  Well that is all for me can't wait to see you this week take care and everyone be good to yourselfs today.

Hey Friends!

Yes, I have been MIA.........................and have missed you and your morning posts Janine..

What a week last week was! I house/dog sat for my niece who went with her hubby to Mexico for their anniversary. Their dog is the cutest 90 lb Pitt Bull named "Jack," who is convinced he's a lap dog! He jumps up on the bed, and tries to sleep with you, but the problem is, he snores and twitches all night long! When you try to give him "the boot," he literally turn away from you, like he's ignoring you....finally after almost putting my foot up his butt, he got the hint that him sleeping with me was not up for negotiation!

Last week was my first full week back at work......I am thinking that I may be looking for another job soon...feeling a bit disillusioned there.

So, I drove from San Pablo to Walnut Creek each day, then would come back, rest, then go over to the neighbor's house (my nieces' husbands' best friend) and we'd stay up so late, talking and laughing...it was a very fun week, but I am so tired.

My family and I took holiday pictures yesterday.  I was pretty pleased with how they turned out. I'll be uploading some of them.  Well have a great Monday.

Good morning Janine and Cali! Thanx for the shout out Janine. I so appreciate it.  Not much on the agenda today. I need to make a run to Staples and pick up some labels and I work from 1:00 - 3:00. I get to take live calls from customers today.  Wish me luck! I hope everyone has a great Monday. And as Luana said, Take Your Vitamins. And don't foget the protein and water too!! =)

Well well well...isn't that nice of them to give you all a 4 day weekend.  I actually had taken today off but a co-worker that I back up will be off the remainder of the month so I decided I might want to pick her brain today cause I will be doing her work fo rthe next 2 1/2 weeks!!  UNLESS I keep having this gallbladder pain that I am having today cause I'm about ready to call my doc and say let's schedule surgery NOW!!  But I digress.

Actually Janine I DID go party at this Blue's spot....Here's the visual, imagine walking through Sanford & Son's junkyard (yeah the old TV show) and ending up at a juke joint (like in the movie the Color Purple).  I swear I don't know how that place is put together.  But I had a good time listening to the bands play and they man Jamie was singing when I got there.  Later he told my girlfriend that he was watching me and later he told me he wanted to get to know me and he bought me a drink.  WELL this man is 74...hello 2x my age.  I will never go back there again, lol.

All in all my weekend was great and resulted in a 2+lb loss...
