Good Monday MOrning

Happy Monday to all of you and wish those who have to go into work a great day!

So did you all have a crazy busy weekend? I sure know I did!

I finally put a tree up yesterday and wrapped all the presents....less Jeff's and my kids...really just the grandkids! OMG I did not think I went overboard, but I did....it was fun! I can hardly wait to see them open them on Christmas day! I guess another good thing about being a grandma.....right all you grandma's out there!

Had a good time at the parties this weekend too...although one went a bit sour due to someone going blastic. Long story short...I left.

Oh BTW...for any of you who can get out here to the desert before the end of the year...surely make a trip to the Living Desert at night....Jeff and I with a couple of friends went there.....WOW it was a light extraveganza for sure! I had a ball with taking these weird ass pictures of the lights....I will post some of them in a bit.

So what did you all wind up doing this weekend?

I have a busy day ahead of me....I get to have both of my grandchildren here with me today. I am very excited about that too! Hunter got his first haircut too...OMG he is so damn cute!

Good Morning Janine ........and the rest of you wonderful peeps...

Yesterday I worked, and that was my whole day. Since I had missed like 10 days, I had a ton of junk to do, which made my day go fast. Today is work again. I am very happy to be going to work and taking a break from baby sitting. I want to make it clear, I do not mind taking care of my sister, but its like someone that spends tons of time with babies all the time, its nice to meet up with adults and talk. That is how I feel.

DD is doing a bit better every day. Its slow going, but still moving forward and no steps back. So that is GOOD!!

OK time to get moving. I need to jump into the shower and drink a gallon.......er some coffee. LOL

I wish you all a great day. Trust your heart and "little voice" they have seen the future, to hear them.

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Note to self turn off the alarm.  My lil one had me up at 1am and I didn't fall back to sleep until almost 4.  So not a happy camper when the alarm went off at 5:30.

We had a nice weekend.  Went to coffee on satuday and what a turn out.  Got two bags of clothes.  Hope it all fits.  Sunday did the last of my Christmas shopping which was getting stocking stuffers.

Today begins cleaning and organizing.  I'm starting slow because hey I'm on vacation.  All the work I brought home to do won't get out of the car until next week.

Good Morning JAnine and Cali Guys and Gals,

Wow are we having a wind storm this morning.  I have to go down the pass today and I know that is not going to be fun in this wind!  Today we are going to go visiting and do some really fun stuff with a good friend.  The kids are exited.  We packed a lunch and lots of Christmas cookies and we all can't wait.  I have to run an errand this morning before we leave but that should be easy,  Then tonight we are expecting more snow up here!  that is nuts but it is o.k. by me.  The kids so love the snow.  Yesterday I baked cookies until I thought they would come out my ears.  I delivered them to my neighbors and they just loved that.  I had the teens help me and they are so great.  You see two of them are sisters and they don't have a mom, so I invited them in for a baking lesson and they just had a ball,  I think they needed a little mama time and I needed a little teen girl time so it worked out great.  We all had fun and that is the most important thing of all.  I sent them home with loads of cookies for their holiday!  They mostly eat fast food and stuff, so this was a great treat.  Well that is all for now..  Have a wonderful day!

Busy, BUSY weekend here too with Christmas shopping and chores in preparation for the Christmas celebration! At least I have a very short week at work this week and next.... just work Monday and Tuesday and then five days off both weeks!

Wish that was the schedule every week instead of the other way around! LOL

So J, does your early Christmas present have Apple in it's name???


Hope so as I would be VERY excited for you!


Well, time to get a move on here. It's raining off and on so I want to get on the road a bit early just in case.

i'm up early with my daughter.. just drinking on my coffee yumo.. me and my daughter yesterday did the holiday cookies.. we made gingerbread men and women, sugar butter cookies, and peanut butter ,, and the peanut ones had no flour they are so awsome... here's the recipe,,
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup of splenda or sugar
1 egg
i cook it at 350 and cook it for about 12mins..
i did half sugar half splenda and they turned out so good...
anyway i'm doing pretty good and i hope for the whole day..well that's it for me today ,, i hope everyone has a great day and take your vitamins.....

Good morning Janine and Cali!! Have fun with those grand babies Janine. They are sooo cute!

Not much went on this weekend. Just a lazy time for once. No where to go and nothing to do....lol Today I am working for 1 1/2 hours and then meeting up with a bunch of people from another online group for lunch at the Mission Inn in Riverside. Should be fun and interesting.

I hope everyone has a great day! Rhonda, be careful coming down that Pass. It gets wicked at times with people coming down that thing at 70-80 miles per hour, no matter what the weather is like.
