5 yrs post op TODAY!!

I feel like an old timer too...will be 36 in a couple weeks! No longer closer to 30, will be closer to 40!!  lol Thanks for the comments! And CONGRATS on your weight loss! You are over half way to your goal! WOO HOO Hugs and Health!

Do you know if Dr. B has ever had patients with leaks?  Just curious.  I'm a revision and scared of leaks. He's a sweetie...I've only met him once and talked with him by phone and I like him a lot. Thanks for the support. B

When I had mine, I asked him that too...and he said never. But that was 5 yrs ago. He does revisions all the time. So dont worry! You couldnt be in better hands! My room mate in the hospital was there for her 3rd wls! Failed stomach stapling from the 60s, had that revised...then this time was in for her 3rd, which was an RNY. She was drinking pop the 2nd day post op....so I Think I know why she failed each time lol Good luck and have no worries! Im SO excited for you! I wish I lived closer (4 hours away) as I would be there for you!! HUGS and HEALTH!

I bet he still doesn't have any leaks.  He's sending me home to Tx directly from the hospital.  Isn't that wonderful? Thanks again for the support and for the well wishes. B

What a fabulous update!  Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.  Losing over 200 #'s is an amazing accomplishment, you should be very proud of yourself!  Congrats on your first five years!  Here's to the rest of your amazing life!!!

Thanks a bunch!! And Congrats to you reaching goal! Wish I could say the same, but I might be able to get to 250 with a tt and working out (which I JUST started) I should have been doing it all along...but with sore knees, it was hard. That and I hate to sweat lol HUGS and HEALTH
