5 yrs post op TODAY!!
I think you have a LOT to be thankful for! And you ended up just where you were supposed to end up. You are healthy and happy, with a wonderful man by your side. He's a keeper! My DH is exactly the same - likes big women with curves! He said he doesn't want me to be too skinny either, but I know he'll love me regardless of how I end up! When we met I weighed 215 - I'm at 252 now after losing 67 lbs and he's recently been calling me "Skinny-butt" LOL! I so love that man!
"...I immediately stood up and walked over to them, stopped them and said...excuse me, what did you say?! Neither could say anything. I told them, I heard what they said and it was rude. You don't know me, or where I've been or where I'm going. For your information I've lost 100# and am still losing. You are ******** and will always be ******** Next time you better think twice before you put down a big person. You don't know what made them that way."
Snap! You are one brave woman! I'm so proud of you to stand up to those kids. I'm sure they'll think twice about saying something so cruel in the future! Good for you!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You truly are an inspiration to those of us just beginning our journey. You should put this on your blog so those who haven't had the opportunity to read it might see it in the future. (Unless it's already there and I missed it!) You are my hero!
Much love and Many hugs!
Jo
