Nausea

I recently got the gastric sleeve plication.  I have been very nauseated, and I wanted to know if this is typical for after surgery, and how long does it last?

sweetie, this is the DS forum, not sure how much help you will get here especially with an experimental (in stage III clinical trials) surgery. how about the main OH forum?   If you are looking for general PO nausea that is one thing but to get info on imbrecation on this forum will be scant.   Call your surgeon/office and ask for help.  good luck to you

I don't know anything about your surgery, but some people get nauseated with any surgury. My nausea went away when I stopped taking my pain meds. Your doctor can give you a perscription for nausea if it is too bad.  Good Luck!
