Insurance coverage for psych eval in TX?

I'm hoping to have the psych eval covered by insurance (and avoid the $300 cash or check).  Was anyone successful at having insurance cover it and if so, can anyone recommend a psych in Houston or Dallas/Denton?  Thanks all.

my psych eval was covered..I paid 38 bucks total which was 25 percent (what my insurance didn't cover). You need to call your insurance and ask...

Dr. Stewart works with Dr. Conte a lot..but I heard she was slow to get paperwork in so I just called my insurance company and they gave me a list of all local psychologists. I called several and had an appt the next week with one.

Was the psych in Dallas?  If so, please forward his/her name so I can check my insurance as well.  Thanks!!!

I used Dr. Jane Count in Fort Worth, TX and she was completely covered by Aetna insurance. She is with Medical Clinic of North Texas. her number is 817-334-1418. If you call and leave a message her receptionist will call you right back with an appointment.
