Meds and Sphincter of Oddi

Does anyone know if we can take flexaril with sphincter of oddi issues? I'm having some back pain and would like to try flexaril, but hate the dreaded sphincter of oddi pain. In the past I have had severe reactions from demerol. My doctor gave me Bentyl (an anti-spasmodic) to take before.
