Stupid question...

I thought about it too much and now I've gotten myself all confused.

Do protein shakes count towards my daily fluid intake or do I still need to get my 96 ounces of water on top of the 32 ounces of protein shakes (water + whipping cream)?  I thought it did but for some obscure reason now I'm thinking I'm wrong...

All liquid counts.  Even soup.

My practice said yes, they do count, but to only use 1/2 the ounces so... 12 ounces of protein shake... 6 ounces towards fluids.

Yes they count. If you pu****er in them then it counts as water.

If it's liquid it counts.
