Hi all,
I am 2 months post-op today and a bit upset with myself. I don't see myself doing as well as I had hoped and I would like to know how others were doing when they reached 2 months post-op.
How much were you eating? How much had you lost?
I have only lost 38 pounds in 2 months, which to me doesn't seem like much. I'm going to the gym everyday, but it seems to me like it's in vane.
I would love some advice from fellow OH'ers, as to what I should be doing and eating at this point. I'm still having a hard time getting my protein shakes in and I'm not sure if that may be the reason I seem to be stalled. :(

Hi you can also attend the bariatric support group and there you will find people that have had reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and would give you a hand on feed back one on one if you have the time.

Dr. Newman seemed very nice and familiar with body countouring post bypass but for some reason they directed me to Dr. Samson and I can't find anyone who has had surgery with him. Do you know when Dr. Rosenthal's next support group is I'd like to attend and see if I can talk to them. Thank you.

My name is Clara, and I had my gastric bypass with Dr. Rosenthal, have not had plastic surgery with non of these surgeons, but a couple of people from the support group who have had plastic surgeries with Dr. Newman, and had no complaints and even when on to having all their procedures with him which say alot. In my personal opinion Cleveland Clinic is the best place to have any kind of Surgery. They are very professional, caring and dedicated to their patients.

Do you have a good support system for surgery?
Would love to get together with you and another friend who is using Dr Marema. I met her thru this site too.
There is a support group out of Palm Bay Hospital. The meeting is Feb 23rd. I may go.

Hi Lor My name is Mary and I too live in Melbourne. I started my journey in August and just got approval today for my sleeve on March 2nd. I am getting my surgery done by Dr Jawad in Ocala. Not sure if there are any support groups in the area. What kind of surgery are you getting done?
This is all new for me, so just learning how to use even the forum, Feel free to add my to your friends list, because I havent even figured that out or all my profile info. Thinking I will have time when I am recouping from my operation.
