Topic: Off to Oahu tomorrow
Hi everyone!
Well it's finally here... I'm off to Oahu tomorrow to see Dr. Fowler and the rest of the team for my first round of appointments. I'm so excited and a bit nervous too. Hoping for a really quick HMSA approval and a surgery date that is very soon! I know there are a few others who have their appointments with Dr. Fowler tomorrow also -- good luck to all!

Are you pre-op or post op? Have you selected your surgery or what type did you already have? I see you have Dr. C as your surgeon. Mighty fine choice there if you ask me!

So I finally decided to stop lurking and say Hi to everyone. I just wanted to let you all know how helpful your posts and stories have been to me. So to everyone Thank and Hello.

My PCP is Dr. Samsami and he is in Kaneohe. There might be other PCP's that are closer that you might be more interested in. Dr. Samsami has about 15 patients that have the RNY and Lap Band. You might even want to call Queens weight loss clinic and see what PCP's do the most referrals because the PCPs that give referrals most likely have the clients right.

It really doesn't matter where on the island. I just want to find a doctor. Never mind my profile...it's been quite a few years since I've been on these boards.
